Our Business

Our objective is to provide our clients and other visitors with reliable information covering the application of eBusiness techniques and technology to achieve real results for “traditional” Small Business or SMBs. We work with small businesses who have decided that they want a serious presence on the web.

We are NOT designers or graphic artists and some would say that our sites look a bit ordinary! However, we attempt to make our client sites actually generate results in some of these areas:

• search engine ranking
• prospect gathering
• client/customer contacts
• electronic product/service distribution
• automated marketing and followup
• blogging
• social networking
• PPC advertising

We also provide general consultancy services in these areas.

Last year saw us take on a bit too much work over our areas of interest with the result that our clients did not get the attention that they deserved, or what we expect of ourselves.

To resolve this, we are actively developing a small network of Virtual Assistants. Very soon we will make these virtual assistants available to clients, although just how this will work is still “under development”.

About Nigel Ball

Up until the early 90’s Nigel practiced as an Actuary, managing actuarial businesses and consulting to corporate clients in Australia, the UK and the USA. An ongoing passion for computers and computer software results in the claim “I’ve owned, serviced, programmed and trashed virtually every personal computer and operating system known to man”. This has always been in the context of using technology to achieve results which cannot be achieved otherwise.

Nigel maintains an involvement with programming and database development through NOMAD Systems as well as enjoying Ruby on Rails development, and suffering PHP to a lesser degree.

His current business activities are largely aimed at Internet Marketing through publishing and consulting.
